Tamdhu from ex-Oloroso sherry casks (26%) anchors the spirit, joined by Dalmunach and Mannochmore from ex-bourbon casks. At 59.1% ABV, bottled natural colour and non-chill filtered, you get the full intensity of this malt-forward blend (65% malt, 35% grain). On the nose: waxy and sherry-forward at first, then grassy notes emerge alongside an almost rye-like spiciness. The palate reveals dark chocolate, warm spices, and rich malt, brightened by citrus and juicy stone fruit. The finish is full-bodied and layered — intensity without sacrifice to complexity.
