About

The Auchroisk 8 Years Old 2010 Brachadair is a remarkable single malt whisky from Scotland's Speyside region. Distilled in December 2010 and bottled in October 2019, this whisky owes much of its character to maturation in a First Fill Oloroso Hogshead. With a limited release of only 75 bottles and an impressive ABV of 59.7%, this is a whisky for true enthusiasts. The tasting profile of this whisky is complex and intriguing. The nose is dominated by fruity aromas of red fruits and cherries, with the strong presence of alcohol being quite noticeable. The palate stays true to these fruity notes, enriched with a subtle sweetness and a dry, slightly smoky character. The finish is long and warming, with a hint of spiciness rounding out the experience. This whisky is perfect for sipping neat, but also pairs wonderfully with rich, dark chocolate to add an extra dimension to the tasting experience.
