About

Linkwood 13 Years Old 2012 Infrequent Flyers is an intriguing single malt whisky from the Speyside region of Scotland, bottled by the Alistair Walker Whisky Company. Distilled in 2012 and matured for 13 years, partly in Oloroso sherry casks, it boasts a rich and layered flavor profile. With only 337 bottles available, this is a rare find for whisky enthusiasts. The whisky opens with a nose of honey, sultanas, and orange peel, accompanied by warm spices and polished oak. On the palate, it presents a rich and balanced composition with layers of honey, malted barley, and stone fruits, subtly enhanced by gentle oak spice. The finish is long and warming, well-rounded with a delicate sweetness. This whisky is best enjoyed neat to fully appreciate its complex aromas. It also pairs excellently with a rich dessert platter or soft cheeses.
