The Raasay Inaugural Release marks a significant milestone as the first owned Single Malt from the Raasay distillery, nestled in the Islands region of Scotland. Opened in late 2017, this distillery reflects the essence of its namesake island, situated between the Isle of Skye and the Scottish mainland. This expression boasts a robust ABV of 52.00%, offering a flavor profile rich in fresh fruit, caramel, and sugary notes, complemented by hints of almond and hazelnut. The whisky is finished in first-fill wine casks, which impart dried spices and a subtle smokiness, enhancing its complexity and depth. The unique bottle design pays homage to the distillery's origins, making it a collector's item worth savoring.
