Old Cromac Collection

McConnell's traces its roots to 1776 in Belfast, making it one of Ireland's oldest whisky brands. The Old Cromac Collection honours the original Cromac Distillery, founded over 200 years ago on the southern bank of the River Lagan, where McConnell's whisky-making began. This 20-year-old single malt marks a rare return to that heritage: only 13 casks were selected for this inaugural release.

The whisky matured for 19 years in ex-bourbon casks before finishing for an additional year in tawny port casks. This two-stage regimen created layered character: bourbon provided the foundation of malt and vanilla, while the port finish added oxidative depth and dried-fruit complexity. Each bottle carries its own cask and bottle number — a deliberate commitment to traceability and craft.
