1989 Murray McDavid

Murray McDavid is an independent bottler known for crafting blends from Islay's finest distilleries. The Cult of Islay 1989 marries two legendary island malts — Bowmore and Laphroaig — with a touch of North British grain, paying homage to Islay's devoted following and its unmistakable peaty character.

Matured in ex-bourbon casks and finished in Tawny Port wood, this 35-year-old blend balances the natural fruit character of both malts against their signature smoke. Only 239 bottles were released, making this a genuinely scarce expression.
