Founded in 2018, Sakurao combines expertise from both whisky and beer production, offering a unique approach to distillation. Master Distiller Taihei Yamamoto skillfully oversees the double-distillation process, ensuring a refined spirit. This whisky showcases a complex flavor profile characterized by fresh fruit and citrus notes, complemented by hints of vanilla and sugary malt. The aging process in sherry casks introduces layers of dried spices and ginger, with a subtle smokiness that adds depth.
