The Sexton takes its name from the hexagonal bottle, inspired by the Giant's Causeway in County Antrim where Bushmills is located. Created by Alex Thomas, Bushmills' master blender with over 18 years of Irish whiskey experience, this spirit is made from 100% Irish malted barley, triple-distilled in copper stills and matured in Oloroso sherry casks.

The marriage of triple distillation and sherry maturation yields a soft, approachable character with pleasant sweetness throughout. The nose shows honey and fruit, the palate develops a creamy mouthfeel with vanilla and light spice, and the finish dries gradually with a hint of pepper.
