Aerstone Sea Cask is a 10-year-old single malt Scotch whisky. Aerstone is a brand from William Grant & Sons, distilled at their Ailsa Bay distillery in the Lowlands on Scotland's south-west coast. The Sea Cask expression is matured close to the coast, where the salty sea air permeates the casks and gives the whisky a distinctly maritime character. On the palate expect soft vanilla, fresh citrus, toasted oak and hints of briny sea air. The finish is smooth with a lingering coastal saltiness.
