Yeats The Lake Isle of Innisfree: A Poetic Blended Irish Whisky
Yeats Irish Whiskey marks its debut with The Lake Isle of Innisfree, a blended Irish whisky honoring the legendary Irish poet W.B. Yeats. This inaugural release draws inspiration from Irish poetry, landscape, and the legacy of one of Ireland's greatest writers. The name references Yeats' famous twelve-line poem from 1890, and future releases in this series will also be named after his celebrated works.
Bottled at 43% ABV, the whisky is a carefully crafted blend: 90% Irish grain whiskey matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon American oak casks, 9% triple-distilled Irish malt whiskey finished in Ruby Port casks, and 1% peated malt. This composition honors the classic Irish triple-distillation tradition, resulting in a complex and balanced expression.
Tasting Profile: The nose reveals vanilla, honey, toasted oak, and red berries. The palate showcases ripe dark fruits such as plum and blackberry, complemented by subtle spice and gentle peat smokiness. The finish lingers with honeyed sweetness and oak notes.
This is a strictly limited release of just 4,000 bottles, available for €90 per bottle. An essential addition for enthusiasts of traditional Irish whisky with literary inspiration.
