Speyside 12 Year Old Corporal Wojtek Vol. 2

Precious Liquors introduces a new chapter in the Corporal Wojtek series, honouring the legendary bear Wojtek. Rescued as a cub in Iran, Wojtek became an official member of the Polish Army during World War II. He famously carried heavy artillery shells and remains a symbol of courage and loyalty.

This 12-year-old Speyside single malt was finished in Pedro Ximénez barriques and bottled at 50.5% ABV. Limited to just 450 bottles, this exclusive release combines the region's characteristic fruitiness with the sweet influence of Pedro Ximénez cask maturation.

The nose presents a modern mix of redcurrants, cherry gummi bears and walnut notes, alongside hints of dried mango and marmalade. On the palate, a sweet, fruity entry develops into clove and nutmeg spice, with dark chocolate, roasted walnuts, tobacco and leather notes. The medium finish features leafy hints, green oak and oak spice.

A solid whisky with a modern, tangy character that doesn't quite deliver the classic Pedro Ximénez influence. This release has sold out.
