Penderyn celebrates the 2026 centenary of Portmeirion, the picturesque North Welsh coastal village, with this limited edition Welsh single malt. Built between 1925 and 1973 by visionary architect Sir Clough Williams-Ellis, Portmeirion is a unique celebration of whimsy and elegance. This release honours that architectural heritage through a luxurious whisky inspired by the village's dreamlike Italianate landscape.

This 700ml bottling is finished in Amarone wine casks and bottled non-chill filtered with natural colour. The Amarone cask finish brings sophistication and complexity, resulting in a full-bodied yet delicate single malt with remarkable depth and layering.

On the nose, ripe fruit, vanilla, and honey intertwine with whispers of oak spice. The palate unfolds luxuriously with red berries, ripe plums, and honeyed sweetness touched by floral undertones and soft spice. The finish is long and warming, with candied fruit, spiced oak, and a subtle trace of grape tannins.
