Jura Distillery, established in 1810, has unveiled a striking new 12 Year Old single malt finished in Oloroso sherry casks. This inaugural release in a new sherry-finishing programme honours Sobremesa, the Spanish tradition of lingering at the table after a meal—a concept perfectly captured in this sun-warmed expression.

Bottled at 46% ABV with natural colour and non-chill filtration, the Oloroso finish brings a full-bodied warmth that distinguishes this release from Jura's typically lighter, fruity character. The nose reveals citrus, vanilla, caramel, and honey, while the palate unfolds with fresh fruit, caramel, and peppery spice. The finish is lengthy, with leafy and fresh fruit notes alongside caramel and oak.
