Glenmorangie Harrison Ford Limited Edition

Glenmorangie has released a unique limited edition single malt from an exceptional collaboration with actor Harrison Ford. This Highland whisky was born during Ford's visit to the distillery in Scotland, where he sampled exclusive casks alongside Master Distiller Dr Bill Lumsden and Master Blender Gillian Macdonald. His enthusiasm became the inspiration for a whisky crafted entirely with him in mind.

This refined dram combines classic bourbon cask maturation with a rare finish in toasted Portuguese red wine casks. At 46.5% ABV and available in 700ml bottles, it offers a fascinating balance between freshness and warmth. The first impression is vibrant and bright with citrus and floral notes, evolving into a more complex profile featuring a surprising 'bite'.

The nose opens with lively citrus reminiscent of orange marmalade, complemented by floral hints of jasmine and honeysuckle. On the palate, Seville orange, lemon, and grapefruit dominate initially, followed by softer layers of baked bread, apricot, muscovado sugar, and buttery caramel. The finish reveals citrus, oak, and leathery notes.

This limited edition is available via Glenmorangie's website for €88.95 and marks the final chapter of the 'Once Upon a Time in Scotland' campaign.
