Glen Scotia Campbeltown Malts Festival 2026 Release

Multi-award-winning Glen Scotia has unveiled its anticipated limited-edition single malt for the Campbeltown Malts Festival 2026. This release celebrates Glen Scotia's maritime heritage and Campbeltown's resilient whisky tradition, a region once known as the 'Victorian whisky capital of the world'.

Aged seven years, this medium-peated single malt was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels before a six-month finish in ruby port casks. Bottled at cask strength (53.9% ABV) and non-chill filtered, the dual cask maturation creates a whisky of remarkable depth. The combination delivers ripe red fruit, gentle sweet peat, and warming spice, all carried on an unmistakable coastal undertone that reflects Glen Scotia's maritime character.

Master Blender Ashley Smith describes this year's festival bottling as a true celebration of Glen Scotia's big Campbeltown character, offering layers of complexity that evolve on the palate. Presented in a premium navy blue box with an interactive QR code experience, the bottling invites drinkers to meet the Glen Scotia team. Available from May 2026 at specialist retailers globally, this non-chill filtered release retails for £59.
