Bruichladdich 21 Years Re/Define

The Bruichladdich 21 Years Re/Define is a sophisticated single malt from Islay that originally launched as a Global Travel Retail release. This 21-year-old expression embodies the distinctive character and quality that define Bruichladdich. Since its reopening at the turn of the century, the distillery has built a strong reputation for consistently delivering high-quality whisky with a distinctive character.

Matured in a blend of bourbon casks (80%) and sherry casks (20% Oloroso and PX), this whisky showcases complex layering. Bottled at 50% ABV and crafted from 100% Scottish barley, it displays the distillery's signature approach. The nose reveals dried apricots, berries, and plums alongside almond paste and custard, with Bruichladdich's quintessential delicate lactic note woven throughout.

On the palate, a viscous, almost oily texture carries notes of nutmeg and fennel seeds, accompanied by ripe, vibrant fruits, beeswax, and raisin bread. The medium-to-long finish features coconut shavings, oak, and orange pith. This is quintessential Bruichladdich—old-school, industrial, and defiantly individual.
