Apple Whisky Sabayon Surprise

A fluffy and decadent sabayon with a hint of vanilla and the depth of Irish whisky, served with caramelized apples. The whisky enriches the sabayon with its warm tones, perfectly complementing the sweet apples.

Instructions

    Whisk the egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until pale.

    Add the Irish whisky to the egg mixture and whisk over a bain-marie until the mixture thickens and increases in volume.

    Heat a pan and melt the butter, then add the apples and cinnamon and cook until the apples are golden brown.

    Divide the caramelized apples among dessert glasses.

    Gently spoon the sabayon over the apples and serve immediately.
