Wallace Paw

Wallace Paw Distillery, located in Scotland, was founded in 1795. It was established during the early years of the Scotch whisky industry, reflecting the burgeoning demand for quality spirits. The distillery was owned by Millar, Baird & Co, who operated it until its closure in 1799, just four years after its inception. Despite its brief existence, Wallace Paw played a role in the early development of whisky production in the region. The distillery specialized in producing single malt whisky, with a notable expression being the Ben Bracken 27 Years. Although production ceased in 1799, the distillery was known for its rich and complex flavour profile, characteristic of the period's whisky styles. The limited capacity and short operational period meant that only a small quantity of whisky was produced, but it left a lasting impression on whisky enthusiasts. Today, the legacy of Wallace Paw is remembered primarily through its historical significance and the rare bottlings that continue to intrigue collectors.
