Lochlea Distillery is situated in the heart of Ayrshire, Scotland, and was founded in 2018 by Neil McGeoch. As a family-owned, independent distillery, Lochlea has established itself as a unique player in the whisky industry, focusing on a farm-to-bottle approach. The McGeoch family cultivates their own barley on approximately 90 hectares of land around the distillery, ensuring that they control the entire production process from grain to glass. With an annual production capacity of 180,000 liters, Lochlea employs traditional methods and modern equipment to create its Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The whisky is characterized by a rich and complex flavor profile that includes notes of fruit, sweet sherry, and malt, complemented by hints of nuts.
