GlenAllachie distillery is situated in the heart of Speyside, Scotland, and was founded in 1967 by the Mackinlay family. The distillery has undergone several ownership changes, most notably being acquired by Billy Walker in 2017, who has since revitalized its production and reputation. GlenAllachie is known for its commitment to traditional whisky-making techniques while also embracing innovative practices. With an impressive annual production capacity of 3.2 million liters, GlenAllachie operates six fermenters, each holding 60,000 liters, and a 10-ton mash tun. The distillery's whisky is characterized by a rich profile, featuring notes of sweet fruit, sherry, and spices, complemented by a smooth finish of oak and honey.
