Cotswolds Distillery is located in the picturesque Cotswolds region of England, founded in 2014 by a group of whisky enthusiasts and entrepreneurs. This relatively new distillery has quickly gained recognition for its high-quality single malt whiskies. It is an independent distillery, committed to crafting spirits that reflect the unique character of the Cotswolds area, with a focus on traditional methods and local ingredients. The distillery is equipped with two copper pot stills, one with a capacity of 2,500 liters and the other at 1,600 liters, along with four fermenters each holding 2,500 liters. Cotswolds whisky is known for its sweet and fruity character, often featuring notes of citrus, honey, and a hint of oak. The aging process utilizes a variety of cask types, including those previously used for red wine, which adds complexity and depth to the whisky.
