Ben Nevis Distillery is situated in the Highland region of Scotland, at the foot of the iconic Ben Nevis mountain. Founded in 1825 by John MacDonald, it is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries. Currently owned by Nikka, the distillery has maintained its traditional production methods while adapting to modern techniques over the years. With an annual production capacity of 2 million liters, Ben Nevis uses a 10-ton mashtun in its processes. The whisky is known for its robust character, featuring a complex flavor profile that includes sweet fruit notes, oak, and a hint of sherry.
