The distillery's name is a tribute to the town's rich history, honoring local viticulturist T.V. Munson and the legacy of Denison's famed citizens. The Likarish family's philosophy is deeply rooted in the heritage of their Texas hometown, blending historical inspiration with a modern craft approach to distilling. Ironroot Republic's portfolio centers on corn whiskey and bourbon, with standout expressions such as Hubris, their acclaimed corn whiskey, and straight bourbons made from heritage grains like Bloody Butcher Corn.
