GlenWyvis Distillery is a truly unique landmark in the world of Scotch whisky: it is the world's first 100% community-owned distillery. Located in Dingwall, in the Scottish Highlands, the distillery opened in late 2017, bringing distilling back to the town for the first time in around 100 years. Its roots, however, reach much further back — the name and spirit of GlenWyvis are connected to the historic Ferintosh Distillery, whose origins trace to the 17th century, making this a story of both modern innovation and deep Highland heritage. The distillery produces single malt Scotch whisky as well as gin — most notably its Goodwill Gin — reflecting a commitment to crafting quality spirits with a sense of purpose.
