/glen GRANT/
Speyside, Scotland · Founded in 1840
Glen Grant is a classic Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery founded in 1840 in Rothes, Scotland. One of the oldest and most storied distilleries in the region, it has built a remarkable legacy spanning nearly two centuries. Over almost 170 years of production, only four master distillers have overseen its whisky-making, a testament to the distillery's commitment to continuity and tradition. Today, Glen Grant operates under the umbrella of Campari Group, which established a dedicated company to manage its operations in 2005/06. Glen Grant is renowned for producing light, elegant, and approachable Speyside malts. Much of its considerable output has historically contributed to famous blends, most notably Chivas Regal, though its single malt expressions have earned their own devoted following. The portfolio ranges from well-known younger expressions to complex single vintage malts, offering something for enthusiasts at every level. In 2023, the distillery debuted its first-ever 21-year-old expression, marking a significant milestone after 183 years of production. Glen Grant holds the impressive distinction of being the world's fifth best-selling single malt Scotch whisky, enjoying particular popularity in Italy, where it has long been a market leader. Its combination of heritage, quality, and accessibility has secured its place as one of Speyside's most respected and widely enjoyed distilleries.
