Dingle Distillery was founded in November 2012 in the town of Dingle, County Kerry, on Ireland's iconic Wild Atlantic Way. When it opened, it was the first purpose-built, privately owned distillery to launch in Ireland in over 150 years, marking a landmark moment in the revival of Irish whiskey. As one of the earliest pioneers of the modern Irish craft distilling movement, Dingle helped pave the way for the wave of independent distilleries that followed. Dingle's portfolio centres on meticulously crafted single malt and pot still expressions, reflecting the artisan ethos of the distillery. Their whiskeys are matured in a combination of casks, including ex-Bourbon and PX Sherry casks, resulting in rich, layered flavour profiles. The distillery's releases are known for their beautiful presentation — heavy bottles, tactile soft-finish labels, and natural beechwood stoppers. Core expressions include the Dingle Single Malt and Dingle Pot Still, with the distillery aiming to produce half a million bottles across its portfolio. Under the guidance of Master Distiller Graham Coull and Managing Director Elliot Hughes, Dingle has established itself as one of Ireland's finest modern artisan distilleries. The launch of the Dingle 10 Years Old Single Malt further cemented its reputation as a producer of serious, age-worthy Irish whiskey with a genuine sense of place.
