Dartmoor Whisky Distillery is an English single malt producer located in Newton Abbot, Devon, in the south of England. As Devon's only whisky distillery, it holds a unique position in the growing English whisky scene and is notably home to the highest distillery in the British Isles. Founded in 2017, Dartmoor has quickly established itself as a growing and widely successful craft operation, drawing on the rich natural landscape of the Dartmoor region to shape its identity and character. The distillery produces single malt whisky using locally-sourced barley, reflecting a strong commitment to regional provenance. Dartmoor's portfolio currently comprises six expressions, including three single cask releases matured in ex-bourbon, ex-Bordeaux, and ex-oloroso barrels, as well as a Port Cask expression. The flagship Bourbon Cask release is described as sweet and creamy, matured in American white oak.
